Design details: Godzilla Collectible Figurine
A broad stance, long tail and raised back details create a complex collectible silhouette. Fine surface texture contrasts with the larger body volumes and makes blanket sanding inappropriate.
Support placement and assembly planning should protect the face, back details and tail. If the tail or other parts move, review joint clearances independently of the cosmetic surface treatment.
Features to review on a similar design
- Keep support contacts away from textured focal areas
- Use localized sanding around fine details
- Check tail clearance and display stability
SLA resin design review
SLA builds photopolymer resin parts with fine surface detail. For a similar model, select the resin by its intended use: an appearance model, a fit-check enclosure and a part exposed to heat need different material properties. Review support contact, drainage from hollow regions, washing access and post-curing before committing to a build. Standard resin should not be assumed to provide long-term outdoor durability or load-bearing performance.

Local sanding can reduce visible marks while retaining functional and decorative detail. Identify mating surfaces that must keep their dimensions and recesses that tools cannot readily reach. Inspect the part after sanding rather than assuming the finish will preserve every clearance.

Upload a STEP file for solid geometry or a high-resolution STL/3MF mesh for sculptural forms. Include overall dimensions, quantity, intended use and the faces or details that matter most. Add a drawing for mating interfaces and a color or finish reference for visual models. AIHFabs can review the geometry and manufacturing options before production.
