Named checks

From released file to the door

Each stage has a check and a fail path. This is an operations list, not a comparison spreadsheet.

  • Printability and material advice before you pay a doomed build
  • In-house QC and photos before pack
  • Reprint or refund when the fault is ours

What we do at each gate

Four gates. If a gate fails, the next one does not start as if nothing happened.

Before release
01

Before release

A named contact reads the file. Thin walls, trapped powder, and finish choice are flagged. Price-match applies when you have a comparable written quote.

  • Printability review
  • Material and finish on one ticket
  • Written lead time on the quote

We do not start a build that the review marked as likely to fail.

On the machines

On the machines

Production status sits in the same account. Parts are inspected in-house. Photos go out before packing.

  • Status you can open without emailing
  • In-house inspection
  • Photo confirmation

If QC fails, we rework or reprint before ship — we do not send a known reject.

In transit
03

In transit

Packed to a short SOP. Shipped on export lanes we already run. Tracking follows the order.

  • Packing checklist
  • Carrier we use for export
  • Tracking on the ticket

If the pack is damaged in a way our SOP should have prevented, the after-arrival terms apply.

After arrival
04

After arrival

The same contact stays on the job. Return and reprint terms are written. Response is for the defect, not a ticket-queue slogan.

  • Named contact
  • Written return path
  • Reprint or refund when we caused the fault

Design changes after release are a new quote, not a free reprint.

Need similar 3D printed or CNC parts?

AIHFABS quotes custom 3D printing and CNC machining from a CAD upload. Compare SLA, SLS, MJF, SLM, FDM, DLP, milling, and turning, then add finishing such as vapor smoothing, dyeing, anodizing, polishing, or powder coating in the same order.

Instant quoting is built for prototypes, jigs, housings, and small-batch production. You see material, process, quantity, and lead time together, which keeps engineering changes from turning into a new round of supplier emails.

If this page describes a process, industry, or sample part you want to reproduce, start from the upload flow and match technology plus finishing to your drawing.
