Design, material and inspection considerations
Appearance and ergonomic prototypes
Use resin models to evaluate grip, button access, seam lines and overall proportions. Define visible surfaces, intended texture and color references; a display prototype and a functional sample may need different materials and finishes.
Assembly, fasteners and moving features
Provide the PCB, battery or mechanism envelope alongside the enclosure. Identify bosses, inserts, hinges and snap features, and allow access for assembly. Validate repeated flexing with the intended material rather than an appearance resin.
From samples to a small production run
State quantities by color and finish and identify likely design changes. Agree a first-article sample, cosmetic acceptance criteria and packaging before a repeat batch so the approved appearance can be reproduced.

Will dyed nylon match a Pantone?
Dye is close, not a molded color chip. Send a target. We will say if paint is the better path.
Can you ship a mixed size run?
Yes. Nesting several sizes in one powder job is normal. List the sizes on the quote.
Is this food-safe or skin-certified?
We print cosmetics to your spec. Regulatory claims sit with your materials and testing, not with a generic nylon lot.
